Objective

  1. To ensure provisions of Unclaimed Money Act 1965 are dutifully enforced.
  2. To manage effectively Unclaimed Securities in accordance with the relevant acts.


Client Charter

  1. To issue Compliance Letter or Follow up Letter to the inspected company within 21 calendar days from the date of inspection.
  2. To process the reimbursement of unclaimed moneys within 14 calendar days upon receipt of a complete application.
  3. To issue letter of confirmation on the proceeds from sale of securities or dividends thereof within 14 calendar days from receipt of the application.

Function

  1. Enforce the Unclaimed Money Act 1965.
  2. Manage the Unclaimed Securities.
  3. To coordinate the consultation programs related to Unclaimed Moneys and Unclaimed Securities management.
