Help Desk was created at the Accountant General’s Department of Malaysia in order to execute its duties in technical assistance. The main purpose of Help Desk is to enhance the quality of the ICT services and systems at AGDM.

Responsible for receiving reports or problems in relation to the GFMAS system whether those reported through the SOLMAN GFMAS system, e-mail, telephone or even the issue log form and subsequently forwarded to the officer in charge.

1SPEKS Help Desk

Sistem Perakaunan Akruan Kerajaan Negeri (1SPEKS) is an accounting system that will be adopted by 11 state’s governments in Malaysia namely Perlis, Kedah, Penang, Perak, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Malacca, Johor, Pahang, Terengganu and Kelantan. This system has 21 modules which namely Payroll (PY), Staff Loan (SL), Investment (INV), Activity based costing (ABC), Advance and Claim (AC), Loans (LN), Budget (BA), Procurement (PROC), Contract Management (COM), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cash Management (CM), General Ledger (GL), Accounting Project (PA), Asset & Inventory (AIM), Enterprise Implementation Services (EIS). Portal, Document Management System (DMS), Bar coding, Security & Administration (SAM) & Business Intelligent (BI).

Sistem Perakaunan Luar Negeri Akruan (1SPLN) is an accounting system adopted by 153 Malaysian Responsibility Center’s all around the world. This system has 8 modules which is Data Control, Security, General Ledger, PTJ Financial, Advance, Imprest, MIS, Win Admin/Admin.

Consultancy Management System Help Desk (COMS)

Advisory and Consultancy Division (BKP), Accountant General's Department of Malaysia (AG) develops COMS to allow for online consultation, approval process and data collection.
 
This is inline with BKP’s responsibilities to provide consultation for accounting and financial policies and system to the Federal and State Governments, Statutory Bodies and other government agencies in enhancing the Government’s Financial Management and Accounting System.
 
Benefits of COMS:
 
a) Automating work processes for consulting services and application to improve the quality of public service delivery;
 
b) Providing database to store information on applications and approvals, monitoring and evaluation activities, research, consultation and statistical data for future references by the stakeholders;
 
c) Providing a platform for online communication, application and enquiries; and

d) Facilitating customers to check the status of applications and get the feedbacks on enquiries.
