Consultancy Management System (COMS) was developed as part of Accountant General Department’s (AGD) ICT Strategic Plan to enhance AGD’s consultancy services and application process through online. This is in line with the increasing number of consultancy and application received from public and private sectors.


The system is web based and will enable worldwide user access. All consultancies and applications will be processed electronically to provide better monitoring and more transparency.


Currently there are ten (10) modules in the system, which are:

 

  1. Consultancy related to government accounting procedures (under AGD’s jurisdiction);
  2. System Design Approval for Accounting Software for Government Agencies (RSAGA);
  3. System Design Approval for Payment and Receipting System for Federal Government (KSTB);
  4. Certification for Standard Accounting System for Government Agencies (SAGA);
  5. Approval for Bulk Payment Agency (SBP);
  6. Approval for Salary Deduction Agency (APG);
  7. Approval for Exemption from Surat Pekeliling Akauntan Negara Malaysia (AGD’s Circular)(SPP);
  8. Submission of Electronic Payment and Receipt Data (STATS);
  9. Submission of AGD’s Activity Based Costing Data (ABC); and
  10. Meeting Room Booking (internal usage).
