Objectives
To provide legal advisory services to the Accountant General’s Department in accordance to the provisions of the Federal Constitution, Constitution of the States as well as other laws, government policies and public interest.
Functions
- Advising on the law-related matters in Accountant General’s Department.
- Drafting and vetting the principal legislation and subsidiary legislation within the jurisdiction of the Department.
- Vetting agreement/contract involving the Department with other parties.
