- Ensuring compliance and enforcement of financial and accounting management procedures as provided under the relevant laws in line with Treasury Instruction 138.
- Providing accounting and financial consultancy and advisory services to Ministries, Departments, and Government Agencies in line with Treasury Instruction 138.
- Managing the accounting service scheme under the Accountant General as Chief of Service in accordance with Service Circular Number 6 of the Year 2010.
- Developing human resource through accounting and financial management training programme.
